|About Me - Short Description||
Originally from France, I moved to London after studying in Paris. In 2010, I decided to leave the world of advertising and travel to Latin America. I flew from Paris to Buenos aires and began my journey in the remote areas of Chile and Argentina: Tierra del Fuego , Patagonia and the Atacama Desert. After working in Santiago de Chile, I continued travelling through Paraguay, Bolivia and Peru
I am usually on very low budget, because my way of travelling is almost exclusively hitchhiking. I think hitchhiking is an alternative way of travelling: you are close to the local people, you follow their advices on where to go/what to see, you eat rather in markets and small restaurants to taste local food than luxury restaurant. Most of the time you are on the road, listening to extraordinary histories and sharing good moments. Getting to know slowly the culture of whoever accepted to open their life to you. It’s an amazing adventure because you never know who you will meet tomorrow and where you will sleep. I also enjoy having my lonely moments with no one around. Most of the time, the places I fancy are not really known from the Lonely planet, because getting there is just difficult, and most of the tourists are in a rush to visit everything.
|What can we find in your blog||
Chile, Argentina and Peru. These countries are just magical. Not only because of the landscapes that are insanely beautiful. The culture is so rich, that you never want to leave a place. Until there is a call to move on.
